Life coach: Can I do Reformer Pilates with a replacement hip?

Q I am 66 years old, and had a right hip replacement 15 months ago. I also have severe osteoarthritis in my left hip. I am trying to keep fit but have been told I should not run or use power plate machines. I would like to try Reformer Pilates; are the movements involved suitable for me?
