Evolution Pilates is located in beautiful Port Washington, NY in the Long Island area. If you have never been here, then you are missing out. Aside from the great workout you can get at our facility, our town also has great shopping, restaurants, sites to visit and scenery. You can join us in the morning for a class and make a day out of it when you are done.

Being a mere 17 miles from NYC, Port Washington itself is a great place to visit. Everything from its tree-lined streets to beautiful shoreline views to community pride make it an attractive destination.

The 33,000 residents of Port Washington have settled here over the past few centuries. People of multiple religious and ethnic backgrounds mold the community that dates as far back as 1643.

It was then that a group of families from Stamford, CT bought the land from the Minetocock Indians and settled there.

Fast forward to today and the evolution of Port Washington makes it valuable as a tourist haven and place to raise a family. We feel honored to be part of this city and love seeing new and old faces walk through the door every day.

We are specifically located in the back of the Dolphin Bookstore building. Here are more in-depth directions so you don’t get lost.

Coming from Port Washington Blvd or Plandome Road, turn onto Main St. Then turn onto Shore Road and come to the Municipal parking lot.

Park in this lot and not the small one directly in front of the building. We also encourage you to use the muni meters when parking to make sure you have enough time for class and do not get ticketed. Please Don’t Get A Ticket!

The muni meters can be very temperamental.  Even if the are not working or covered with bags, you might get a ticket.  Please take a moment to download the Passport Parking App and familiarize yourself with it as an alternate method of paying your meter.  There is a $.30 surcharge, but tickets are $85 so this is still preferable to the ticket. We are happy to help anyone with the set up of the app. In the long run, this may be a good thing as the app lets you know when time is running out and allows you to add time from your phone.
